Learning new languages always makes me wonder whether their peculiarities somehow reflect the psychological picture of the country. Spanish, for example, has to verbs for "be": "ser" and "estar", the former used to describe permanent, identifying features and the latter - temporary conditions. Does it mean the Spanish think they can always tell between the two?
No question, though, why Hebrew doesn't have any polite form of address...
