Idiots again?
Feb. 10th, 2013 04:13 amUsually, in personal conversations, i dwell so much on the advantages of going international, abandoning the very concept of home country, it's impossible to shut me up without using some mass destruction weapon. Well, now i'm about to showcase one drawback of it, and quite laconically. You see, when you're settled, you get to choose your everyday company; when you're a perpetual wanderer, you don't. And whatever perfect filtering routines you have, you still bump into the same shit: the first person you find worthy to drink with promises to google it when you mention Niccolo Paganini; the second politely offers you to remove yourself from her world when you make a reference to Heisenberg's uncertainty principle. Another challenge. Trust me to deal with it. At least i can still stand upright. And - well, Mina, i miss you. The ideal ghost in a perfect shell.
What drives me mad - no, what drives me solitary - is not their lack of knowledge. It's their lack of curiosity.
